More than 30 companies from across the globe have confirmed sponsorship support for the 2021 International Brewing and Cider Awards, the world’s most historic international beer and cider competition.
The competition, which dates back to 1886, has a long history of championing, on a not-for-profit “by industry for industry” basis, the world’s best brewers and cider-makers, and companies from across the globe have been keen to align their brands to the Awards.
Headline sponsors for the 2021 Awards are BarthHaas, a leading supplier of hops and hop products, and international brewery process equipment manufacturer, Krones – both have a long-standing relationship with the competition.
Hop merchant Simply Hops has been named Special Hop Trophy Sponsor while other Trophy sponsors include: All Party Parliamentary Beer Group, The British Guild of Beer Writers, IBD, Drinkworld Technology + Marketing, The Morning Advertiser, BrauWelt, BFBI, BarthHaas, Cider Academy and Cider Manual, while Beer & Brewer and Hand Pumped are partners.
The Japan Craft Brewers Association is once again partnering the Awards and Technical Sponsors include: Anton Paar, Centriflow, Rankin, Trade Team, BevEx and BOC.
Merchandise Sponsors include: Charles Faram & Co, Murphy & Son and AB Vickers, while The National Brewery Centre will be providing the venue. Kegstar will be offering free-of-charge keg hire and LemonTop Creative are also supporting the Awards with the creation of online entry forms.
Ruth Evans MBE, Director of the International Brewing and Cider Awards, said: “We’re extremely excited to announce all our sponsors who are supporting The International Brewing and Cider Awards. This year, we’ve partnered with both new and returning brands across the globe who all live and breathe the brewing and cider industry.
“As a non-for-profit competition, sponsorship is extremely important to us and all the sponsors, across several tiers, have contributed to the success of our prestigious Awards over many years. They enable us to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary beers and ciders that both brewers and cider-makers have worked so hard to produce.
“We’re extremely grateful for their support during such a difficult year and we look forward to hosting the event which commences in November.”
The International Brewing and Cider awards, which still has some sponsorship opportunities available, will take place in November 2021 at the National Brewery Centre, Burton-upon-Trent. Brewers and cidermakers from across the globe are invited to enter their finest beers or ciders to be blind-judged by an international panel of commercially practicing expert brewers and cider-makers from around the world.
Entries for the awards open on 1st July 2021. For more information about the awards, including a list of categories and entry criteria, please visit International Brewing and Cider Awards’ website.
